Our Story

Healthcare Systems, LLC was founded in 2017 by a group of actuaries who recognized that health plans and providers needed a specialized partner that fused rigorous, traditional actuarial methodology with modern data science, predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and software solutions/development — not a generalist firm that treats healthcare as just another vertical.

From the beginning, our mission has been to deliver precise, actionable insights and software solutions that empower U.S. healthcare payers and providers to manage financial and clinical risk and operations with confidence. Today, our tightly focused national practice serves Medicare Advantage, ACA, Medicaid, and Commercial health plans from coast to coast. We combine deep actuarial expertise with cutting-edge data platforms, machine learning, and real-time modeling to help clients optimize pricing, forecast trends, design competitive benefit plans, and improve member outcomes — all while maintaining solid financial stability.

What sets us apart is our boutique scale. With a lean, senior team we move faster than large consultancies, yet we bring the same (or greater) technical rigor and industry depth. All actuarial work products are prepared in accordance with applicable Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs) published by the Actuarial Standards Board. Our national footprint includes states that together represent a significant share of U.S. health insurance enrollment.
